Event Overview

The Decarbonization Working Groups: 2025 Winter Roundtables will consist of a series of thematic roundtables with academia, industry, and government speakers and attendees. In this highly interactive and discussion-based event, participants will together co-create R&D roadmaps across the Trienens Institute Six Pillars of Decarbonization. Together we will define and discuss actionable steps to addressing major challenges and opportunities for decarbonization, helping shape the national and global landscapes around these topics.

Expected Event Outputs

The work products of the Decarbonization Working Groups: 2025 Winter Roundtables will include a series of white papers and R&D roadmap documents that can be further repurposed and transformed into items such as:

  • Reviews/perspectives for submission to prominent academic journals
  • Thought leadership/editorials for submission to news publications
  • Presentations at industry events, academic conferences
  • Recorded video presentations for online distribution
  • Introductions/context-settings for joint grant proposals
  • Collateral materials for educating policymakers
