Hotel Reservations

Spin Chemistry has reserved a block of rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn (1818 Maple Ave.) in Evanston, Illinois. Situated adjacent to Northwestern University, Hilton Garden Inn Chicago North Shore/Evanston offers a prime location in Downtown Evanston. Travel is easy with proximity to the CTA and the Metra.

1 King Bed: $159.00/night
2 Double Beds: $169.00/night

​How to book: Individuals will call to make their own reservations via telephone (1-800-435-7435). Please identify as being part of the Spin Chemistry Meeting to receive the group rate. Individuals can also request reservations online using the online booking code: SCM22. To confirm a guest reservation, Hilton Garden Inn requires a guarantee of the first night’s room rate and tax, which may be provided by credit card. Individual reservations must be cancelled 48 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fee. Rooms will be held until 15 July, 2022.


Via Car
  • From O’Hare: this 17-mile trip will take approximately 35 minutes.
  • From Midway: this 30-mile trip will take between 40 and 70 minutes.

Via Public Transportation
  • BUS From O’Hare: Pace Bus: Take bus Route 250 from O’Hare to the Davis Street CTA station in downtown Evanston (about half-a-mile from campus). See the Pace website for the Route 250 schedule, map, and fares
  • SUBWAY (THE “EL”): From O’Hare: this journey involves two transfers and takes approximately 110 minutes. From Midway: this journey involves two transfers and takes approximately 100 minutes.

Campus Parking
Permits are required for all campus lots Monday-Friday, 8 am – 4 pm. Daily permits cost $9.00 for visitors. Learn more about how to obtain a permit, view a map of all parking options, and find ticketing policies and payment procedures.
